This video is designed to guide health care providers, communities and elders in understanding the Baby-Friendly Initiative in an Indigenous context. Developed with an Aboriginal working group, the video covers the importance of breastfeeding, how breastfeeding is supported in Canada, how the Baby-Friendly Initiative benefits all mothers and babies, how a facility can become Baby-Friendly, and ways to get communities and organizations started.
